About DTMBA:

The Don't Take My Bat Away coalition is a network of parents, grandparents, players, coaches, concerned citizens, USA Baseball and the top amateur baseball governing bodies - all strongly opposed to politicians banning the use of aluminum and composite bats in amateur baseball. 

We think experts such as Little League, Babe Ruth and PONY Baseball should make these decisions based on their knowledge and the studies they've completed. Countless studies and research prove baseball is safe with wood and non-wood bats.  There is no safety-based reason for the government to step in and take away a player’s right to choose his or her type of bat.

There is no financial cost in joining and it is important to show strength in numbers with our growing group of sports organizations, coaches, parents and players who want to keep baseball safe, while preserving a player’s ability to hit with the bat they like the most.
