Please take a moment to join the team by joining the coalition and ask your friends and family to do so as well.

Your help is critically important to stop the out of control politicians from banning the safe use of aluminum bats.

We think parents and coaches know what’s best for our children. Don’t let the politicians take your bat away. We need your help today to fight this!

Interested in a leadership role in the grassroots effort? We are organizing grassroots volunteers at two levels, "Coaches" and "Captains." To volunteer to be a DTMBA Coach or Captain, simply complete and submit the form to the right and you will be transferred to our Coach/Captain sign-up page.

For additional information on these volunteer opportunities, please read the Coach and Captain Responsibilities below:

You will be playing one of the most important management roles in our coalition to stop the ban of safe aluminum bats.

Your involvement in supporting the Don’t Take My Bat Away coalition gives you a front-row seat. The baseball playing public across the country will be watching what happens here in New Jersey, so get ready! Here is an outline of your responsibilities as a Coach.

• As a COACH, you will be our primary point of contact and will be responsible for recruiting 5 CAPTAINS.

Take a few minutes to sign-up a few of your friends, neighbors and co-workers who will support the grassroots Don’t Take My Bat Away coalition. They can sign up by logging onto our website, www.DTMBA.com or by calling our Grassroots leadership at 202-347-7974.

• Serve as a spokesperson to the media on behalf of the DTMBA coalition.

• Email your friends and CAPTAIN list to our grassroots director (Phillip Stutts – pstutts@dtmba.com) so that we can demonstrate strength in numbers as our coalition grows.

I can’t thank you enough for all you’ve done so far and for the support you will give in the future.

Make no mistake; this issue will come down to the science of safety and that’s why we need to organize so we can deliver our message.
