You will be playing one of the most important management roles in our coalition to stop the ban of safe aluminum bats.
Your involvement in supporting the Don’t Take My Bat Away coalition gives you a front-row seat. The baseball playing public across the country will be watching what happens here in New Jersey, so get ready! Here is an outline of your responsibilities as a Coach.
• As a COACH, you will be our primary point of contact and will be responsible for recruiting 5 CAPTAINS.
Take a few minutes to sign-up a few of your friends, neighbors and co-workers who will support the grassroots Don’t Take My Bat Away coalition. They can sign up by logging onto our website, www.DTMBA.com or by calling our Grassroots leadership at 202-347-7974.
• Serve as a spokesperson to the media on behalf of the DTMBA coalition.
• Email your friends and CAPTAIN list to our grassroots director (Phillip Stutts – pstutts@dtmba.com) so that we can demonstrate strength in numbers as our coalition grows.

I can’t thank you enough for all you’ve done so far and for the support you will give in the future.
Make no mistake; this issue will come down to the science of safety and that’s why we need to organize so we can deliver our message. |
